A Few Aeroplan Shopping Promotions

Aeroplan is offering a few shopping portal promotions. This is a great way to accumulate miles more quickly. I would not go out of my way to shop, just to accrue bonus miles, but if you happen to need to shop for something anyway, then it’s worth putting in some energy towards maximizing the potential rewards that you can earn.

Usually, what I would do is either delay a purchase until such promotions are offered, or I may accelerate a purchase for the sake of earning these bonus miles.

Aeroplan eStore

Aeroplan’s estore is offering 5x the miles on all purchases until August 14, 2016. Below is a very extensive list of retailers:

As you can see, there is a fairly extensive list. So you definitely have lots of different opportunities. One of the key retailers that you want to have your eye out for is eBay.

Costco.ca

Some stores are not included in the eStore, such as Costco.ca, which is offering a 3x the miles promotion until August 16, 2016.

Uniprix

You can earn 2x the miles until August 31, 2016 on purchases of $40 or more. Not exactly a great offer, but better than nothing if you happen to spend more than $40 anyway. But I would definitely not go out of my way to take advantage of this offer.

Rogers Magazine Service

There is an added bonus offer for Rogers magazines until August 31, 2016. Here is the breakdown:

• Earn 375 Aeroplan Miles with one magazine
• 1,025 Aeroplan Miles with 2 magazines
• 1,400 Aeroplan Miles with 3 magazines or more
