[LOUNGE] List of Credit Cards that Give Unlimited Lounge Access (updated April 9, 2015)

Lounge access can easily make your travels way more comfortable, because we all had our share of discomfort at airports. So having a credit card that gives you unlimited access to lounges can be a great perk to have. Today, I will be updating the list of credit cards that give unlimited access to airport lounges.

American Express AeroplanPlus Reserve Card

  • $899 annual fee
  • $299 for supplementary cardholders (maximum of 9)
  • Access to the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges and Priority Pass Lounges

The Priority Pass is subject to space availability. Both the basic and supplementary cardmember(s) can apply for a Priority Pass membership. To access a Priority Pass lounge, the cardmember will need to show his/her valid Priority Pass card and an airline ticket for travel on the same day. Participating lounges may restrict entry of persons under 21 years old. Priority Pass members can bring a guest for a fee of $27 USD per person per visit, which will be billed to the American Express AeroplanPlus Reserve Card.

American Express Platinum Card

  • $699 annual fee
  • $175 annual fee for supplementary cardholders
  • Access to the Canadian Platinum Lounge Benefit
  • Access to the Airport Club Program

Participating Canadian Platinum Lounge Benefit may vary from time to time. To access a lounge, you must show your credit card along with an airline ticket for same day travel, as well as a government issued photo identification. Furthermore, the cardholder can also bring his or her spouse and 2 children (under the age of 21) or one travel companion into the lounge as guests for free! The guest accompanying the cardholder must show a valid airline ticket for same day travel, as well as a government-issued photo identification to access the lounge.

In terms of the Airport Club Program, the cardholder must present his or her credit card, a government-issued identification, as well as a same day corresponding airline ticket to the lounge agents.

American Express AeroplanPlus Platinum Card

  • $499 annual fee
  • $199 annual fee for supplementary cardholders
  • Access to Maple Leaf Lounges

Cardholders must present their credit card and his or her same-day departing ticket on an Air Canada, Air Canada Express, Air Canada codeshare or Star Alliance flight to get access to a Maple Leaf Lounge, which is subject to availability. Cardholders can bring guests for a fee; pending space availability. Unfortunately, supplementary cardholders do not receive lounge access.

Conclusion

Essentially, the more you access the lounges, the more worthwhile the annual fee becomes.
