[PROMOTION] VIA Rail’s Unlimited Youth SummerSemester Pass (expired on August 31, 2015)

VIA Rail is offering an Unlimited Summer Pass for youth between the ages of 12 and 25, or 26 and over with an ISIC card. The passes are good for 60 consecutive days, upon activation up until August 31, 2015.

Below are the different passes that you can choose from:

  • Corridor (Quebec City – Windsor) – $399 + taxes, for travel on Escape fare
  • Corridor (Quebec City – Windsor) – $399 + taxes, for travel on Escape, Economy and Economy Plus fares
  • System Summer Pass (Canada-Wide) – $799 + taxes, for travel on Escape fare
  • System Summer Pass (Canada-Wide) – $999 + taxes, for travel on Escape, Economy and Economy Plus fares

Keep in mind the following conditions:

The passes are refundable and exchangeable, less a $50 service fee plus taxes, provided that:

  • The pass has not expired.
  • No trips have been made using the pass.
  • No tickets booked with the pass have been cancelled after the scheduled departure of the train.

Tickets issued by the passes can be exchanged without penalty, provided that:

  • For travel on the same date but on board a different train – tickets must be exchanged prior to the scheduled departure time of the original train booked and the new ticket must also be booked in the applicable booking fare family class in keeping with the Corridor or System Summer Pass for youth
  • For travel using a Corridor or System Summer Pass for youth on a different date than the original booking – the new ticket must also be booked in the applicable booking fare family class in keeping with the Corridor or System Summer Pass for youth
  • Please note that the initial booking must be cancelled prior to the departure time of the original train

Passes are non-transferable and are only valid for travel solely by the person in whose name the Corridor or System Summer Pass has been issued.
