[ANALYSIS] List of Charged Cards in Canada

Charge Cards are actually not that common in Canada, considering that only one company, American Express, offers these types of cards. The main difference between a credit card and a charge card is that there is more financial flexibility with charge cards because there is no credit limit.

The most important catch is that you need to pay your balance is full each month, or else interest will be calculated on the full balance immediately. The other significant catch is that the interest rate is generally higher than with a credit card. Lastly, they affect your credit score a little differently, mostly because you do not have a set credit limit.

If you can pay your balance in full every month, these are great cards to consider. American Express Canada offers a wide variety of charge cards: (in order of highest annual fee to lowest)
