Review of Best Western Fallsview

For only 12,000 points, I was able to stay at the Best Western Fallsview in Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. The location was amazing. As a Platinum member they upgraded my room so we were on the top floor of the hotel with a fabulous view.

The parking was going to cost $18 for non-Best Western Rewards members, $10 for a regular member, but since I have Platinum status, they waived my parking fee, so that was a pretty sweet perk.

We were less than a 10 minute walk to the falls, so I didn’t have to move my car. If you have never been to Niagara Falls before, driving near the falls is a super pain and you will have to pay quite a bit for parking in the area.

Especially considering that I was able to book a stay on the Saturday of a busy Thanksgiving weekend, the 12,000 points for the room is such great value that I would hate to see it go away. As good as the location was, I think the main reason why the hotel isn’t changing more points for a reward night is because the hotel does feel a little old and run down. There isn’t anything special about the hotel aside from being in a great location.

The stay did not include a free breakfast. Instead we received a $10 voucher to IHOP, which was located inside the hotel. We also received a $20 gift card for Outback for steaks.

In the washroom, the bathtub in our room actually had a seat, so that was pretty neat.

All-in-all, I believe that this was a great stay and definitely worth the 12,000 points and I would recommend this option to anyone who values location. If you are looking for a more up-scale stay, there are many other options to consider instead.
