Earn 35% more Aeroplan Miles with Marriott Conversion
Aeroplan is offering a 35% conversion in bonus miles, along with another 5,000 bonus miles (up to) offer (for every 60,000 points exchanged) when converting Marriott, SPG or Ritz-Carlton loyalty points into Aeroplan miles. The offer is valid between September 13, 2018 and September 17, 2018.

The optimal transfer would be in increments of 60,000 to get the extra 5,000 bonus miles. However, here’s another way to look at this. I value 1 Marriott point at 0.9 cents a piece. So 60,000 Marriott points is worth $540 (60,000 x $0.009), but 33,750 Aeroplan miles is worth $506.25 (33,750 x $0.015). They are relatively close in value. So I would suggest only converting if you had a specific reward redemption in mind, that you already know the value of, rather than converting for the sake of it.
That being said, this is definitely the best conversion bonus we have ever seen!
