[AIRLINE] Elite Status with Aurora Rewards

Canadian North passengers can earn Aurora Rewards. You can read more analysis about the program here. This post will focus on elite status called the Aurora Concierge program.

You will need to earn qualifying points (QP) and qualifying segments (QS) during a calendar year (January 1 to December 31) to achieve elite status, while the status will be effective from March 1 to February 28 of the following year. Below are a few of the significant perks to each membership.

  • Achieve after earning 12,000 QPs and 12 QSs
  • Earn 5% more on base points earn
  • Earn 2 lounge passes
  • Complimentary Onboard Drinks

Aurora Concierge Gold

  • Achieve after earning 20,000 QPs and 18 QSs
  • Earn 10% more on base points earn
  • Earn 5 lounge passes
  • Earn 1 extra checked luggage
  • Complimentary Onboard Drinks
  • Priority Boarding & Check-in
  • Change Fees Waived

Aurora Concierge Diamond

  • Achieve after earning 30,000 QPs and 30 QSs
  • Earn 15% more on base points earn
  • Earn 10 lounge passes
  • Earn 1 extra checked luggage
  • Complimentary Onboard Drinks
  • Priority Boarding & Check-in
  • Change Fees Waived
  • Member Only Special Events
  • Annual Gift

I see a lot of potential in the elite program. I’m sure there is a good amount of people who travel to and from the territories than can take advantage of some of these perks.

There are also merger talks continuing with First Air that will expand the airline, making these points even more valuable.
