Flair Airlines (private airline based in Edmonton, Alberta) is offering passengers an unlimited travel pass on Canadian domestic flights between February 13, 2020 and May 13, 2020.

Unlimited Flight Pass

There are two passes available, below are the highlights of each before we get into our thoughts:

Destinations

Also important is where does Flair Airlines fly to, to determine whether this pass makes sense:

  • Abbotsford International Airport (YYX) to:
    • Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Toronto, Winnipeg
  • Calgary International Airport (YYC) to:
    • Abbotsford, Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg
  • Edmonton International Airport (YEG) to:
    • Abbotsford, Kelowna, Toronto, Vancouver Hub
  • Kelowna International Airport (YLW) to:
    • Abbotsford, Edmonton, Vancouver Focus city
  • Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to:
    • Abbotsford, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Winnipeg
  • Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to:
    • Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Toronto
  • Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (YWG) to:
    • Abbotsford, Calgary, Toronto Secondary hub

Thoughts

I think it is pretty safe to say that this is an amazing deal. Even if you only flew these routes 3 times (once a month) in the promotional period, you will get most or all of your money back.

If you have friends and family to visit on these destinations, you can potentially visit different people every weekend if you buy the $699 unlimited pass.

Maybe fly to Alberta to buy the pass to save on taxes?
