[PROMOTION] VIA Rail’s Unlimited Semester Pass (expired on January 31, 2015)

Originally, VIA Rail’s Unlimited Semester Pass for students was set to expire on December 31, 2014; however, the promotion has been extended to January 31, 2015. Just to recap, this product is exclusive to travellers between the ages of 12 to 25 years old or travellers aged 26 years old and above with a valid ISIC card. There are two Unlimited Semester Passes to choose from:

  • $499 + taxes –  unlimited travel between two travel zones, either between “Kingston and Windsor” (West) or “Kingston and Québec City” (East)
  • $799 + taxes – unlimited travel between VIA stations throughout the entire Québec City – Windsor Corridor

The passes are valid for 120 days in Economy class only following its activation. Unfortunately, though understandably, you cannot give the pass for someone else to use.

If you regretted not making the purchase, you still have a chance to do so now. As usual, always do the math before you make a purchase to ensure that the purchases is worthwhile for you.
