[PROMOTIONS] Aeroplan, Costco, Esso (expired)

After giving a promotions update a few days ago, we have another update for everyone.

There are a lot of promotions out there that may not apply to our everyday spending habits, especially when they give 3x the points on a flight ticket during a specific time period. So we will focus on every day bonuses that apply to a wider range of people.

First all, for all you Costco members, between October 28, 2013 and November 27, 2013, you can earn 1 Aeroplan point for every $1 spent at Costco.ca. This is the perfect way to make purchases, from the comforts of your own home and you earn bonus miles. If you are not already a member of Costco, now is a good a time as any to join because they are running 1,000 or 1,500 sign up bonuses until December 31, 2013.

Furthermore, if you are going to shop with Costco, as you may know, they only take AMEX, no MasterCard or Visa. Therefore, I recommend getting the AMEX True Earnings Card that has zero annual fee. I wrote about the True Earnings Card here.

The second every day lucrative promotion is from Esso. Between November 4, 2013 and December 8, 2013, with a minimum purchase of 35 litres, you can earn:

• 100 Aeroplan bonus points for Supreme or Extra Grade gas
• 50 Aeroplan bonus points for Regular Grade gas or Diesel fuel

You can be sure that I will be taking advantage of this promotion. Remember to cap your filled-ups at 35 litres and come back again for more points another time to maximize your return.
