[ANALYSIS] Petro-Points

UPDATE- The Petro-Points 6,000 points promotion mentioned below is only valid for Ontario residents only.

We previously wrote about the Esso Extra program.

Today we will focus on the Petro-Points program since there is currently a very generous promotion. Until May 12, 2014, you can get the Fuel Rewards Savings card for only 6,000 points (normally 12,000 points) and reload for only 5,500 points (normally 11,000 points). If you collect Petro-Points and looking to redeem your points, this is a great time to do so.

[PROMOTION] 20,000 Aeroplan Points with CIBC (first year fee waived) (expired)

In a surprise move by CIBC, they are offering 20,000 Aeroplan points with first year annual fee waived on their two credit cards, the Gold and Infinite versions.

[PROMOTION] 20,000 CIBC Aventura Points and First Year Fee Waived (expired on March 31, 2014)

CIBC decided to waived its annual fee and raise the sign up bonus. Previously, CIBC had the 30,000 sign up bonus Aventura points promotion, but no annual fee waived. Now they reduced the sign up bonus to 20,000 points, but waived the first year annual fee, which I think is the better deal.

[PROMOTION] 30,000 CIBC Aventura Points (expired on December 31, 2013)

There is a 30,000 Aventura bonus points sign up for the CIBC Aventura Visa Infinite Card that ends on December 31, 2013. If you are still thinking about getting this credit card, this is your last chance. Check out our previously written analysis on this credit card to see if it works for you.
