Top Cash Back Credit Card Offers for April 2017

Personally, I am still not a big fan of cash backs (mostly because of the lack of significant sign up bonuses), but it seems to be a big trend in Canada. Either way, there are still some decent options to look out for.

By the way, thank you Greg, for some feedback last time. I updated the posts accordingly this time around.  Keep in mind that in most cases, the emphasis is really more on the promotional offer.

Also, you can always check out my Top Cash Back Credit Cards page, which is frequently updated. Unlike that page, which includes permanent bonus offers, this post only lists temporary promotional offers, which I have listed by annual fees:

  1. For the cards with an annual fee, it would be nice to note how and when the cash is paid (once on the anniversary date as a statement credit, any time as a cheque, etc) so that I know if I’ll be able to get the cash before paying the annual fee 🙂

  2. I think I’ve seen that the AMEX cards give you the statement credit in September of every year

    1. Sounds about right!

      From the footnotes of AMEX:

“Provided your account is in good standing, cash back can be earned on purchases less returns and other credits. Cash back is applied as a credit to your account annually and will appear on the statement issued in September of each year.”
